Did anyone else watch?

I wont give my opinion just yet.... But I LOVED seeing BRENDA and Kelly again.

This week (wk 2 of the series) Kelly's drunken/stoned Mom Jackie Taylor appears! How excited am I?!?!

the main reason i watched is for shannen:) i am hoping she sticks around after her 4 episodes, and i hope the father of sammy is brandon, yea i watched last nights episode of 90210 and jackie was in it for like 2 mins, that was disappointing, hope she is on again. i also hope tori comes back.

It's not OUR 90210 by any means... a bit OC-ish. It totally lacks the heart the original had. I'm predicting that 1/2 of those kids will be let go when they opt to retool the show. My main beef with the show is the character who seems to be the new Brenda. Even tho she is a Canadian (like me) I just find her TERRIBLE. I like the druggie girl, Niomi and Silver tho... The young guys are neither good or bad.

But, ITA with you, it's all about Brenda!!! Sadly I read that she only signed on for 4 episodes, and just announced that that was it. She is involved with another project and couldn't do both. I REALLY hope she comes back. To be honest with you, I left 90210 (the original) when she left. I think for this version of the show I'll keep it up. It's not that it's such a fab show, more like there is nothing else on!

I hate to say it, I really like Kelly. I loved her before she stole Dylan away from Brenda. Since then, she's OWNED my bad bookl. HAHA... I hold a grudge.

Jackie Taylor IMHO was perfection!! I loved that she has her issues again. I just like the drama I suppose. I was sad she was only on for such a short time tho. Hopefully she gets more air time.

The one piece of casting I love is Rob Estes. Not so much for his character, or even his skills as an actor.... more like he was from Melrose Place, and it made nu 90210 feel a bit more like an Aaron Spelling show. Oh Aaron... he made the best shows!!!! And for that reason alone Tori should be brought to the show. A respect thing for her Dad...as well as honouring the shows history. Nat and not Tori?! Thats nuts.

Now who to you think Kelly's sons baby daddy is?! I think we are being lead to believe it's Dylan.... but his hair is really blonde... and really curly! Could Steve be the Dad? Now thats a twist!

hey mike,

i read an aritcle with jennie and she said, whoever they get to come to the show first(dylan or brandon), that is who the father will be:) they don't know who it is just as much as we don't, i was thinkin it was brandon just because shannen is there, it would make sense why brenda would visit her nephew. anyway i felt the same way about jackie, she should have been on thru the whole show, i understand they don't want to make it like the old 90210 but that is why i think people are tuning in. i love rob estes and lori loughlin, they and shannen are the reason i am tuning in. i like jennie garth to but i don't think she adds anything special quite yet, i am going to continue to watch it, hopefully they are just building strong stories.
